ABOUT LESSER PERIWINKLE (VINCA MINOR)

The blue petals of this plant resemble propellers. The name of the herb is modest, but, however, periwinkle saved many lives. Periwinkle is used to make such well-known remedies as Cavinton, which dilates blood vessels; Vinkapan, that lowers blood pressure; Vinkristin, a drug for the treatment of tumor growths.

HOW TO USE PERIWINKLE

Vinca decoction is used in folk medicine to reduce blood pressure, treat diarrhea, headaches and to enhance potency.

TINCTURES, REMEDIES and RECIPES from PERIWINKLE

PERIWINKLE DECOCTION

Pour 1 tbsp. of chopped leaves with a glass of water, boil on low heat for 20 minutes. Take 1/3 of the decoction 3 times a day.

PERIWINKLE TINCTURE

Pour 20 grams of periwinkle stems with flowers with 250 milligrams of 40º vodka, heat to boiling point, then cool. Take 8 drops in the morning and evening for 4 days. Make a pause for 2 days. Then begin this process again. Continue this cycle until you feel better.

Note that periwinkle is a bit poisonous. Therefore, do not increase the dose, even if it seemed that there is no result.
